En Croacia puedes hacer diferentes rutas todo depende de los billetes de avión que dispongas, ya que puedes llegar o partir desde varios aeropuertos.
In Croatia you can take different routes but depending on the airline tickets, you can arrive or return from different airports.
En nuestro caso la llegada y salida fue desde Dubrovnik, al ser 4 personas se tienen que buscar las mejores ofertas!!!
In our case we arrived and departure from Dubrovnik, as we were 4 people I looked for the best offers.
Día/Day 1
Dubrovnik, imprescindible, precioso, todas sus calles parecen un decorado de película, el centro está realmente muy bien cuidado y muy limpio (no me extraña que la seleccionarán para rodar Juego de Tronos).
Dubrovnik is a beautiful city, all the streets look like a movie set, the center is very well kept and clean (no wonder The Game of Thrones has filmed here)
Es una ciudad pequeña que tranquilamente se puede ver en un día, y con niños no hay problema es prácticamente toda peatonal.
It’s a small city that can be visited in one day and is easy for children as the center is only for pedestrian.
Recomendación muy importante; si podéis evitar la visita por la mañana mejor, ya que paran muchos cruceros, mejor visitar por la tarde cuando ya se han marchado.
Important recommendation, If you can avoid visit Dubrovnik in the morning it’s better, because many cruises stop there, so it’s best to visit the city in the evenings, when the people have left.
Día/Day 2
Justo delante de Drubrovnik hay una pequeña isla llamada Lokrum, es muy fácil llegar, en el puerto del centro histórico salen pequeñas embarcaciones para allí cada 30 minutos.
In front of Dubrovnik there is a small island called Lokrum, it’s very easy to get to, in the city center port you can catch small boats to Lokrum that leave every 30 minutes.
El atractivo de esta isla a parte de sus aguas transparentes y pequeñas calitas, es que esta deshabitada y solo viven en ella conejos y pavos reales salvajes.
The attraction of this island apart from the transparent water and the littles beaches is rabbits and peacooks, is that it is only inhabited by.
Es realmente divertido estar bañándote en este increíble mar y que aparezcan estos animalitos.
It’s really fun when you’re swimming in this incredible sea and these animals appear.
Recomendable llevarse comida y perderse por la pequeña isla.
I recommend taking your own food and getting lost on the little island.
Dia/Day 3
Al día siguiente alquilamos una pequeña embarcación con patrón para ir a visitar Elaphiti Islands, un grupo de islas la mayoría deshabitadas y otras muy poco habitadas.
The next day we hired a small boat with skipper to go and visit Elephantini Islands, they are a group of islands mostly uninhabited but same with a few residents.
De esta forma podíamos parar donde quisiéramos, hicimos snorkel en cuevas, paseamos por la islas, nos bañamos en todos los lugares que quisimos. Un día muy bien aprovechado.
This way we could stop where we wanted to, snorkel in caves, walked on islands, we swam in many places. We had a wonderful day!!!!

Día/Day 4
Ahora tocaba recorrer la costa dálmata de Dubrovnik a Split.
We then crossed the Dalmatian coast of Dubrovnik to Split.
Este tramo de Costa es realmente espectacular, te encuentras 1.000 sitios donde parar con calas preciosas de agua azul turquesa que te invitan a bañarte.
This coast is really amazing, you can find 1.000 places for swim, little beaches with turquoise water that entices you to dive in.
Decidimos parar en Ston, que tiene nada menos que la segunda muralla más grande del mundo despues de la China.
We decided to stop in Ston, it has the second largest wall in the world after China.
Esta zona es la gran productora de ostras y vino de todo el país.
This area is the largest producer of oysters and wine in the country.
Después de parar para bañarnos en varios sitios y de visitar Ston, nos dirigimos a un sitio que si no te lo dicen no lo encuentras, realmente un lugar para perderse!!!
After swimming in various places and visiting Ston, we went to a site that if no one had told you it was where, you wouldn’t know it existed a place. Really a place to get lost in!!
Es Luka’s Tavern en Kobas no hay dirección, si queréis llegar tenéis que contactar con ellos y os dan las explicaciones para dar con el lugar.
Is Luka’s Tavern in Kobas, without adress, if you want to visit it, you have to contact them and they give you the directions to get there.
OJO, sólo tienen la pesca del día.

Para que veáis que es un sitio alejado de todo, esta es la carretera que te lleva allí, mar por ambos lados, nada más.
So that you see that you are far from everything, the road to get there has sea on both sides and nothing else.
Dia/Day 5
Split, ciudad sorprendente y preciosa, las calles del interior del Palacio Diocleciano hacen que parezca una pequeña Roma.
Split, an amazing and beautiful city, the internal streets of the Diocleciano Palace are very similar to a little Rome.
Al igual que Dubrovnik se puede visitar perfectamente en un dia, y también todo el centro es peatonal.
Same as Dubrovnik can be visited in one day and the center is only for pedestrian as well. 
Día/Day 6
Trogir y Ciovo Island, desde Split salen varias excursiones en barco hacia una laguna llamada Blue Lagoon, pero nosotros finalmente decidimos acercamos lo máximo posible a esta zona en coche, y fue la mejor opción.
Trogir and Ciovo Island, from Split there are several boat trip to a nice place called Blue Lagoon but we decided to go by car and this was the best option for us.

Era agosto y prácticamente estuvimos solos, la laguna es increíble.
It was august and we were there alone, the Lagoon is amazing for swimming.
Para comer, muy cerca esta el restaurante Konoba Duga en Okrug Gornji, donde se come muy bien y también bien de precio.
For lunch, the Konoba Duga restaurant in Okrug Gornji is very close to have lunch, the food is fantastic!!!!!
Por la tarde de regreso a Split, visitamos Trogir, pequeña ciudad medieval declarada patrimonio de la humanidad en 1997.
In the afternoon we returned to Split and visited Trogir, a small medieval town declared a World Heritage site in 1997.
Día/Day 7
Parque Nacional de Krka – The National Park Krka
El PN es precioso, lleno de cascadas y abundante vegetación, el problema que al ser Agosto había demasiada gente.
The NP is beautiful, many waterfalls and abundant vegetation, the problem is in August there are many people.
Posiblemente para visitarlo sea mejor en otra estación, por ejemplo en primavera.
I think it would be better to visit it in another season, for example in spring.

- Llevar zapatillas de rocas.
- Appropiate shoes for rocks in the sea.
- Llevar pasaporte, aunque no hace falta para Croacia, si es necesario para hacer la ruta de Dubrovnik a Split, ya que hay una parte del territorio que pertenece a Bosnia y hay frontera.
- A passport is not necessary for Croatia, but if you go from Dubrovnik to Split, there is a border control you pass through Bosnia.
Alojamientos / Accommodation:
Siempre que hacemos viajes intento buscar apartamentos, ya que viajando con niños resulta más cómodo.
When we travel we always prefer to stay in an apartment, traveling with children is more comfortable this way.
En esta ruta estuvimos en tres apartamentos diferentes que estuvieron muy bien, pero quiero destacar uno en Split donde realmente nos costó marchar, ya que estuvimos muy agusto tanto por el apartamento, que no le faltaba detalle, como por la propietaria y su familia que fueron estupendos.
On this route we stayed in three different apartments, but the best one was in Split, we were very comfortable and it had everything we needed for our stay, it has many details and the owner and his family we were very kind.
