Hace tiempo que tenía ganas de visitar la casa de Dalí en Portlligat- Cadaqués, y al final decidimos ir a finales de octubre.
I had wanted to visit Dali’s house in Portlligat-Cadaqués for a long time, and we decided to go at the end of october.
Tema importante, las entradas se tienen que reservar con tiempo por internet en: http://www.salvador-dali.org (Niños menores de 8 años no pagan, así que hay que aprovechar!!, adultos 11€), son visitas de grupo aprox. unas 8 personas cada 15 minutos, con un guía que va dando unas pequeñas explicaciones.
La casa está situada en un marco incomparable, no me extraña que pasará allí tantos años y le sirviera de inspiración.
Important thing, the tickets must be booked online in advance in http://www.salvador-dali.org (Children under 8 are free, adults 11€), visits are made in groups of aprox. 8 people every 15 minutes with a guide who gives short explanations. The house is in a beautiful location, it’s not surprising that Dalí lived there for many years.
Antes de la visita los niños se lo pasaron en grande tirando piedras al agua y viendo las barquitas de la pequeña cala.
Before the visit my children enjoyed throwing stones in to the water and watching the fishing boats.
Una vez dentro de la casa, les encanto todas las cosas excentricas que tenia Dali, tiene hasta un oso polar disecado en la entrada!!!!! y la piscina, jardines….
Once inside, they loved the eccentric things Dalí had in the house, there was a stuffed polar bear on the front door!!! and the pool, garden…everything was eccentric.
Indicaros que si vais con niños pequeños teneis una consigna donde podeis dejar bolsas, mochilas, etc, sin coste, si vais con bebes es mejor hacer la visita con una mochila portabebes, ya que hay algunas escaleras, para los peques que caminan ningun problema.
If you go with babies there is a cloakroom where you can leave buggies or backpacks for free, it’s better to visit Dali’s house with a baby carrier because there are many stairs.
En los baños podeis encontrar cambiador para bebés.
There are baby changing facilities in the bathroom.
Despues de Portlligat nos fuimos a pasear y comer a cadaqués, si teneis la posibilidad de ir fuera de temporada alta (agosto) es perfecto en cualquier estación, nosotros fuimos a finales de Octubre y nos hizo un dia maravilloso para pasear por sus calas, calles y su paseo al borde del mar.
After visiting Portlligat, we went for a walk and had lunch in Cadaqués. It’s better visit Cadaqués out of high season, although really is beautiful in any season, we went at the end of october and we had a beautiful day, we spent walking around the town, discovering litle coves and wandering along the coast.
Como el dia lo merecia fuimos a comer pescado a un restaurante familiar de Cadaqúes donde comimos de maravilla, Can Rafa (Plaza Passeig 7, Cadaques), restaurante de toda la vida, ambiente familiar, servicio rápido y pescado buenisimo(que más se puede pedir?), para los niños nos trajeron colores y folios para que estuvieran entretenidos, asi que un dia 10.
For lunch we went to a family restaurant in Cadaqués, the food was wonderful, Can Rafa Restaurant (Plaza Passeig 7, Cadaqués). The restaurant had a family atmosphere, fast service and fresh fish, ohhh everything was great. They also brought us crayons and paper to keep the children entertained. It was a wonderful day!!!!
